It is not far from Middletown High School, is surrounded by many houses, the Calvary United Methodist Church, and the Calvary Christian Preschool. In the survey that was taken by the students, 50.6% were male, 46.1% were female, and 3.3% did not want to say. Even though the majority of the students are White, 70.6%, there are many other ethnicities of the remaining students at this school. The other students are American Indian, Asian, African American, Native Hawaiian, or are more than one race.

There have only been 54 incidents of suspicion compared to the 14,730 incidents in the state that took place. The students reported that they are not afraid to attend school and are almost never afraid to use the bathrooms. They also said that they are almost never afraid to walk to and from school. The students understand there will be consequences if they choose to disobey a rule. They believe that the discipline at their school is very fair. During fire drills and lockdowns they are confident that they know what to do in order to be safe. The school takes student safety very seriously and will do what they need to so they can make sure their students feel comfortable.
